Newly appointed Chief Justice Mohan Peris paid his visit to Batticaloa. First he paid a courtesy call on the Bishop of Batticaloa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ponniah at the Bishop’s House. He was accompanied by Civil Court Judge, Sasi Mahendran and some other lawyers.

It was Peiris’ first visit to Batticaloa since being appointed as the Chief Justice two months ago.
